Malik Basintale reaffirms his commitment to the welfare of sanitation workers under the YEA sanitation Model

The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Mr. Malik Basintale has engaged with sanitation workers across the country to find a lasting solution to their concerns.

Basintale during the engagement with the workers has reaffirms his stands to improve the welfare of sanitation workers in Ghana.

He assured them that under his leadership, the Agency will never enter into any contract that pays workers below the minimum wage.

His assurance was met with enthusiasm and praise from the workers, who expressed renewed hope and confidence in the direction of the Agency.

The CEO emphasized that sanitation workers play a critical role in maintaining the health and cleanliness of our communities and deserve to be treated with dignity and fairness.

The interaction forms part of a broader effort by the YEA to strengthen transparency, improve working conditions, and ensure that all its modules meet the highest standards of worker welfare.
