A Fulani guy called Mamud killed his own four months pregnant wife Called Barikisu in between Frimpongkrom, Nkrankwanta Dormaa west and Cote D’ivore. This sad incident happened on Sunday, 15th June, 2025.
According to the witner, the woman called Barikisu who may not be more than twenty years had been going through maltreatment in the hands of her husband.
She had a conversation with the landlord called Abdullai to go to her hometown all because of the maltreatment from his own husband called Mamud. The Fulani guy, Mamud, convinced her wife with their language when the landlord received an emergency call when he was having conversations with them on the issue and told them to wait till he comes back.
They all go back to the village together but in the evening time when they were all eating, the man intentionally waked up at once and slaughtered his own wife, Barikisu like someone slaughtering an animal.
He runs immediately after the incident and the corpse had been barried after the doctors operated the woman and removed the unborn baby. It happened at a town called Frimpongkrom, Nkrankwanta, Dormaa West that share border or boundary with La Cote D’ivore. The police service at Cote D’ivore is still doing the investigation to arrest him.
