The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asuogyaman, Hon. Godwin Bobobee, has officially handed over four brand new motorbikes to the Asuogyaman District Health Directorate to enhance healthcare delivery across the district.

The motorbikes, donated by the Ghana Health Service through funding support from the Global Fund, are intended to facilitate effective supervision, monitoring, and outreach activities by health workers, especially in hard-to-reach communities.

Speaking during the brief presentation ceremony at the forecourt of the Asuogyaman District Assembly, Hon. Bobobee commended the Ghana Health Service and the Global Fund for their continuous support to the health sector. He emphasized that the gesture would significantly strengthen community health operations and ensure that residents in remote areas receive timely and quality healthcare.

He also encouraged the District Health Directorate to put the motorbikes to good use and maintain them properly to ensure their longevity and continuous service.

Receiving the motorbikes on behalf of the Directorate, the District Health Director, Rebecca Bantey expressed profound appreciation to the Assembly, the Ghana Health Service, and the Global Fund for the donation. She assured the DCE that the motorbikes would be used strictly for official health-related activities to improve healthcare access and supervision across the district.
