Dr. Koka Advises Party To Devoid Politics Of Insult During Upcoming Internal Elections.

A lecturer and Ashanti Regional National Democratic Congress (NDC) Research Director and former Parliamentary Aspirant for Ejisu constituency, Dr. Elvis Koka has solemnly advised the rank and file of members who will be taking forms to contest in various positions in the party’s Upcoming Internal Elections to consider leveraging their campaigns on platform that will not associate with insults and personaal attacks to protect and maintain the party’s Democratic credentials.

Dr. Elvis Koka made this call on Akoma FM, a local radio station in the Ashanti Region, while speaking with the host, Sir John.

He admonished members not to let the Internal elections divide the party’s front, stressing that there will be criticism, but it should be constructive, not insulting. It’s about telling the delegates what you have done deserves to be given your preferred position. In doing so, according to him, it will further strengthen the party’s winning ways especially in the Ashanti Region.

As director of research, the grassroots are paramount and pivotal point of the Party’s strength; hence, he encouraged them to remain calm, resolute, and united, and he believes their resilient performance during the 2024 general elections will be rewarded in due time.

That notwithstanding, he went further to appeal to those who are fortunate to be given positions, especially the CEOs, not to downplay the efforts of the grassroots, but rather do what they can positively to support them at the branch level.

The NDC in Ashanti Region is significantly becoming stronger due to the able leadership of the regional chairman, the regional secretary, now the regional Minister, and all the regional executives who have contributed immensely to the party’s outstanding record of 34% in the 2024 elections and this did not happen on a silver platter but through rigorous individual and collective efforts.

“I am being objective that the NDC is going to record 38% in the next general elections in the Ashanti Region”…and this can be done and done well when our internal ranks are united. He concluded.
