Man arrested for killing a 45-ye
A man in his late 50’s has been arrested at Gomoa Dominase Onion market for allegedly raped and killing a 45-year-old woman whose name was given as Habiba at Gomoa Potsin in the Gomoa East District of the Central region.
According to sources, the suspect attacked the victim in a bush, raped and pressed her neck to death after long struggling.
The report says, the victim, “Habiba” is a cow milk seller and on her way to the farm early in the morning on Saturday 14 February, 2026, was attacked by the suspect.
According to the report, the suspect upon attack, brutally raped the woman, fought with her, and broke her neck and then left her in the bush beneath a tree.
The victim called her son to report that someone was trying to hurt her since she suspected the suspect before the incident, but the suspect attacked her while she was on the phone with her son.
Following the mother’s phone call, the son arranged for the boys to come to her aid. However, as they were in route, they came across a blood-stained suspect who denied killing the woman.
After discovering that he was the one who murdered the woman, the guys looked for him and discovered him at the onion market
In the process of beaten him, the police swiftly rescued him and he was sent to the kasoa Central East Regional Police command.
