A 33 Year-old mam by name kwaku has been allegedly shot himself to death as a result of broken-heart at Camp near Akyim Twereso in the Eastern Region.
The story claims that Kwaku has been dating his partner—whose identity is withheld—for several months. Kwaku later proposed to his lover, but his lover’s parents turned down the offer to wed their daughter.
The woman’s mother was unable to explain the reason Kwaku’s marriage proposal was turned down and refused to discuss the issue with anyone.
Therefore, once the mother-in-law sent the woman back to Akyem Akroso, Kwaku was unable to handle the humiliation and the heat.
Kwaku picked up his rifle on Saturday night and got a cell phone from his mother so he could call someone outside the home. He walked straight up to his cocoa field, which his uncle had left for him, and he choked himself because he couldn’t bear the heat from his broken heart.
Speaking with eyewitnesses, Yaw Amoah told Trust FM that Kwaku shot himself in the throat by using his leg on the trigger.
The Ghana police service at Akyim Akroso has picked up the lifeless body, and commerce investigation into the matter.
