42-Year-Old Farmer Cuts Off Manhood in Attempted Suicide at Aworowa

 

 

A 42-year-old cocoa farmer, identified as Kofi Assum, has left residents of Aworowa in the Techiman South Municipality of the Bono East Region in shock after reportedly cutting off his manhood in an attempted suicide.

According to a report by Radio247, the victim, who also works as a basket weaver, allegedly used a sharp object to sever his manhood before being discovered in a pool of blood.

Residents who rushed to the scene quickly intervened and transported him to a nearby health facility for emergency medical care. His current condition remains unknown.

The disturbing incident has triggered concern within the community, with many highlighting the need for increased awareness and support for mental health challenges.

Authorities are yet to release further details as investigations into the matter continue.
