A tragic incident occurred at Takinta in the Jomoro Municipality of the Western Region, where a man (Cosmos Ndah) has met his untimely after his attempt to save a neighbor’s life. Nya Meah who was reportedly trying to harm himself ended up killing his neighbour (Cosmos Ndah) who made attempts to stop him from committing suicide.
According to eyewitnesses, Cosmos Ndah entered the man’s house to rescue him after hearing that Nya Meah intended to take his own life. His aim was to calm Nya Meah down and prevent him from the act.
However, during the confrontation, the situation escalated into violent, and the neighbor (Cosmos Ndah) was fatally attacked with catlas.
The incident has left residents of Takinta in shock.
Police have since taken over the case, and investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
